Whether you’re looking for a new dental home or returning after years away, we’ll make getting started feel easy. We set aside about 90 minutes for your first visit so you have time to settle in, ask questions, and get to know us.
What happens at your first appointment?
Your visit typically includes a thorough exam, pictures, X-rays, scans, and a cleaning. Prefer to start with just a consultation? Let us know when you schedule. We’re happy to begin with a conversation.
Your doctor will walk you through your images so you can see and understand what’s happening in your mouth. If treatment is needed, we’ll create a plan together and review our recommendations, timing, fees, insurance benefits, and payment options.
Has it been a while? You’re in good company.
Many of our patients come to us after a long break from dental care. You can expect a warm welcome and gentle care. Kristen, our hygienist, has been with us for a decade, and our entire team will take things as slowly or as quickly as you need. Tell us what would help you feel comfortable. We’ll listen.

Once you book, you’ll receive a link to complete our simple forms electronically before your visit.
Have X-rays from within the past year? Feel free to email them to FandHDentistry@gmail.com. If they’re more than a year old, don’t worry about tracking them down.
Your dental insurance is welcome here.
We work with almost all PPO dental insurance plans and help you make the most of your benefits. Many patients pay nothing out of pocket for covered visits, depending on their plan, even though we’re out-of-network. Our team will check your benefits, handle the insurance paperwork, and explain any estimated costs before treatment. Have questions about your plan? We’re happy to help.
